CoAsia Electronics has always been actively involved in social welfare. This time, in response to the Taipei Exchange’s call, we have contributed to the “Support Charity and Spread Love through the 1919 Food Bank” event, organized by the Chinese Christian Relief Association. This initiative aims to provide relief to families facing economic hardship due to natural disasters or significant accidents, as well as to economically disadvantaged families (including single-parent families, foreign spouses, grandparent-headed households, individuals with disabilities, elderly living alone, and low-income families), by subsidizing basic necessities. Through corporate donations to the event’s fund, we join hands to help the underprivileged in society and collectively fulfill our corporate social responsibility.
The “1919 Food Bank” regularly provides basic daily necessities to economically disadvantaged families to reduce their living expenses, allowing them to allocate their limited resources towards children’s education, healthcare, and other areas to improve their quality of life. With over 575 service centers and thousands of volunteers across Taiwan, the 1919 Food Bank delivers food packages to beneficiary families every two months. In 2024, the 1919 Food Bank aims to raise NT$264 million in goods and cash to continue supporting 5,000 beneficiary families. (Excerpt from the association’s official website)
We hope that this small act of kindness can make a meaningful impact. CoAsia Electronics will continue to promote charity and spread love, making society warmer and the world a more compassionate place.
